Biography

People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. Born in Tashkent. Graduated from the Tashkent Theatre and Art Institute named after A. Ostrovsky. 

He has performed in productions at the Tashkent State Academic Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky, the New Drama Theatre, the Et Cetera Theatre, the Pushkin Moscow Drama Theatre, and the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. 

Film actor (films include "Night Watch", "Dear Masha Berezina", "The Barber of Siberia", "What the Dead Man Said", "Secrets of Palace Coups", "Yolki", "Black Lightning", "Tender May", "Day D", "The Turkish Gambit", "Mom, Don't Cry", and others). 

Awards and prizes: Best Movie Villain of the Year at the MTV Russian Movie Awards 2006. Moskovsky Komsomolets Award for the role of Freddy in the play "Locust" at the Pushkin Theatre.
